Current Quaterbacks Going to the Hall Of Fame

No Doubt

Aaron Rodgers: A four time MVP who throws the prettiest ball of all time. He’ll be a first ballot HOF and no one will bat an eye.

Patrick Mahomes: He is putting up numbers and accolades at a faster pace than any QB ever. It pains me to say, but he will make a run at the NFL GOAT and at minimum should be on the Mt. Rushmore for QBs if he stays healthy.

Lamar Jackson: Every player who has won the MVP award multiple times has or is guaranteed to go to the Hall of Fame. For that reason, plus the fact that he is probably the best athlete and running QB ever, I think Lamar has punched his ticket to Canton and he still should have many productive years left.

Likely In

Russell Wilson: Forget the last couple years. He’s a ten time Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl Champ, an All-Pro, and the QB of a legendary team. I do think he needs one more MVP/OPOY/All-Pro type season to absolutely solidify himself a spot. The one thing that could keep him out is if his play continues to be ugly moving forward.

Young, but likely will make it

Josh Allen: His play is absolutely amazing but playing like Superman has its consequences. I worry he takes too many hits and it will lead to him having too short of a career to do what he needs to make the Hall. However, he has already won an MVP, is one of the most gifted QBs we have ever seen, and likely will retire with the most rushing TDs ever by a QB. I think he’ll likely do enough to get in.

Joe Burrow: He is a gamer and a winner. I think the Bengals will win at least one Super Bowl and he’ll have many individual accolades. He’s also the only active QB who has shown he can beat Mahomes when it counts. It’s just about staying healthy.

Justin Herbert: I think his floor is a Dan Marino type career where his team lets him down but he puts up all time numbers. If he can even win one Super Bowl, I think he goes down as a Top 10 to 15 QB ever. Jim Harbaugh will only help him.

Missing Out

Matthew Stafford: I don’t get the Hall buzz for Stafford. He has made two Pro Bowls, never been an All-Pro, never been considered a Top 5 QB, and never won a major award. He’s out.

Top 10 QBs of All Time

1 Tom Brady

Numbers. Awards. Super Bowls. He has done it all and done it better than anyone else we’ve ever seen. The one and only GOAT.

2 Joe Montana

A guy who played his best during the biggest moments. His Super Bowl stats: 4-0, 3 Super Bowl MVPs, 11 TDs-0 INTs, and a QB rating of 127.8. Oh yeah and he wasn’t too bad in the regular season, winning 2 MVPs and being a 5 time All-Pro.

3 Peyton Manning

A super likable guy off the field, but a killer on it. A ten time All-Pro, 5 time MVP, and he won 2 Super Bowls.

4 Patrick Mahomes

Probably the most talented QB to ever play. He is about to turn 30 and still has a lot of his legacy left to write. He will make a run for the top spot on this list.

5 Aaron Rodgers

He probably throws the greatest ball in NFL history and doesn’t even look like he’s trying. It’s no surprise he’s won 4 MVPs and put up a ridiculous TD-Int ratio of 507-116. He can still build on his insane resume.

6 Brett Favre

The ultimate gunslinger. Favre would improvise like no one else and was never afraid to make any throw, which led to many interceptions, but also 3 MVPs and a Super Bowl.

7 John Elway

One of the most hyped QBs coming out of college and he delivered with 2 Super Bowls and an MVP.

8 Johnny Unitas

Unitas was putting up big numbers in the passing game well before most QBs were. His 3 MVPs and 7 All-Pro selections show how dominant he was.

9 Dan Marino

He was dominant and put up modern day numbers in the 80s. The fact he’s on this list despite not winning the big one shows how good he was.

10 Drew Brees

He put up huge numbers year after year and brought NOLA a much needed Super Bowl.

2025 NFC Predictions (Plus Super Bowl Pick)

NFC East

  1. Philadelphia Eagles (1 Seed)
  2. Washington Commanders (6 seed)
  3. Dallas Cowboys
  4. New York Giants

The Eagles are the clear cut favorite to win the division. They have the most talented roster in the league. Washington should be nipping right at their heels for most of the year. The Cowboys and Giants have very little going for them right now.

NFC North

  1. Green Bay Packers (2 Seed)
  2. Detroit Lions (5 Seed)
  3. Minnesota Vikings (7 seed)
  4. Chicago Bears

The best division in football. I think all four could potentially make the playoffs. The Packers have the fewest question marks so I give the edge to them.

NFC South

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4 seed)
  2. Atlanta Falcons
  3. New Orleans Saints
  4. Carolina Panthers

The Bucs are by far the best team in the division and should runaway with the division title. The Falcons are the only other team that should even compete to make the playoffs.

NFC West:

  1. San Francisco 49ers (3 Seed)
  2. Los Angeles Rams
  3. Seattle Seahawks
  4. Arizona Cardinals

I think the 49ers bounce back in a big way. If Matthew Stafford was healthy, I may have them winning the division. I just don’t know if I can trust his back to hold up all year. The Seahawks and Cardinals are formidable teams but they are just shy of missing the playoffs.

NFC Playoffs

Wild Card Round

  • 1 PHL: Bye
  • 2 GB vs 7 MIN: 2 GB wins
  • 3 SF vs 6 WSH: 3 SF wins
  • 4 TB vs 5 DET: 5 DET wins

Divisional Round

  • 1 PHL vs 5 DET: 1 PHL wins
  • 2 GB vs 3 SF: 2 GB wins

NFC Championship Game

  • 1 PHL vs 2 GB: 2 GB wins NFC

Final NFC Thoughts:

The NFC is pretty deep roster-wise, even though the AFC has the best QBs in the league. I think the Packers come out on top and make it to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LX

1 BUF vs 2 GB: 1 BUF wins the Super Bowl

Josh Allen and Buffalo capture their first ever Super Bowl Title.

2025 AFC Predictions

AFC East

  1. Buffalo Bills (1 Seed)
  2. New England Patriots
  3. New York Jets
  4. Miami Dolphins

The Bills should continue to dominate the AFC East. They have one of the best QBs in the league and are so much better than every team in the division. Their schedule also is particularly easy this year. As a Pats fan I will say the Patriots are being overrated. I think they will take massive strides but are still a year away way from making the postseason. The Jets have talent but seem to be lost as a franchise. Someone may need to give them a map because they’ve been lost for almost 60 years. If Justin Fields plays well they shouldn’t be too terrible, if he doesn’t then yikes. The Dolphins have some offensive talent but they look like a team that might implode. It seems like Mike McDaniels is not that respected by his players and that there is a lot of inner turmoil. If things go wrong, people may get fired and the team may have to completely rebuild.

AFC North

  1. Baltimore Ravens (3 Seed)
  2. Cincinnati Bengals (6 Seed)
  3. Pittsburgh Steelers
  4. Cleveland Browns

This is a solid division all around. The Ravens have one of the best rosters in the NFL and are prime contenders. The Bengals have their share of problems defensively and off the field, but their offense is just too good to miss the playoffs back to back years if they are healthy. The Steelers continue to be stuck in No Man’s Land. They will probably just miss out on the playoffs. The Browns just suck. They have no direction and will be in contention for the number 1 pick.

AFC South

  1. Houston Texans (4 Seed)
  2. Jacksonville Jaguars
  3. Indianapolis Colts
  4. Tennessee Titans

A poor division outside of the Texans who should pretty easily win it. The Jags have some talent but this franchise always seems to disappoint. The Colts are not in a good place right now. The Titans have potential but are at ground zero of a full on rebuild.

AFC West

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (2 Seed)
  2. Denver Broncos (5 seed)
  3. Los Angeles Chargers (7 Seed)
  4. Las Vegas Raiders

The Chiefs are a dynasty and I will pick them to win the division until another teams proves me wrong. The Broncos have great coach, solid QB on a rookie deal, and great defense. They should be able to get the 5 seed. Chargers are dealing with injuries but have the coaching and talent to make the playoffs. The Raider will be solid, but can’t contend in this division.

AFC Playoffs

Wild Card Round

  • 1 BUF: Bye
  • 2 KC vs 7 LAC: 2 KC wins
  • 3 BAL vs 6 CIN: 3 BAL wins
  • 4 HOU vs 5 DEN: 5 DEN wins

Divisional Round

  • 1 BUF vs 5 DEN: 1 BUF wins
  • 2 KC vs 3 BAL: 2 KC wins

AFC Championship Game

  • 1 BUF vs 2 KC: 1 BUF wins AFC

Final AFC Thoughts:

The AFC is loaded with potential Hall of Fame QBs. I think one of them – Josh Allen- finally leads his team past Kansas City into the Super Bowl. The Chiefs cannot dominate forever and I believe Buffalo’s time is now.
