NFL Week 12 Reaction

New England Patriots (3-9) @ Miami Dolphins (5-6)

This game went horribly. The Dolphins completely outplayed the Patriots and the game was over so fast. The Pats now have lost their last 5 games in Miami by at least two possessions.

Not only were the Pats outplayed, but they played with no discipline whatsoever and kept hurting themself with mistakes.

Both tackles played so poorly and it’s becoming clear that is their biggest weakness that needs to be addressed with their first round pick.

Mayo’s postgame comments are going to fan more flames on the fire. Similar to after the Jacksonville game, they are being blown out of proportion, but Mayo still needs to be smarter when at the mike.

San Francisco 49ers (5-6) @ Green Bay Packers (8-3)

Green Bay unsurprisingly dominated. The Packers are a great team but somehow are in 3rd place in their own division. Meanwhile, the 49ers basically keep losing to injuries rather than teams as they cannot get healthy.

Baltimore Ravens (8-4) @ Los Angeles Chargers (7-4)

Thanksgiving might be awkward for the Harbaughs after John beats Jim in a close game. For the rest of us, this was a super entertaining game. The Chargers are knocking on the door of being great, but the Ravens are better in these close game scenarios.

NFL Week 12 Predictions

New England Patriots (3-8) @ Miami Dolphins (4-6)

The Patriots have always struggled playing in Miami. With all the injuries they are dealing with, those struggles should continue. I think the Dolphins win, cover (-7.5), and the over (46.5) hits.

San Francisco 49ers (5-5) @ Green Bay Packers (7-3)

Something must be in the water in San Francisco. The 49ers add more injuries to their growing list with Purdy, Bosa, and potentially Trent Williams out for the game. I think the Packers easily win, cover (-5.5), and the under (44) hits.

Baltimore Ravens (7-4) @ Los Angeles Chargers (7-3)

The best matchup of the weekend. I think the Ravens win, cover (-2.5), and the under (51) hits.

NFL Hot Seat Rankings After Week 11

1 Doug Pederson – Jaguars

This team is too talented to be 2-9, especially after giving Trevor Lawrence a massive contract this offseason. They playoffs are likely out of reach and it’s only a matter of time before he is fired.

2 Mike McCarthy – Cowboys

The Cowboys and McCarthy seem to be at a pass. This year is a letdown and they will likely part ways after the season.

3 Matt Eberflus – Bears

This team should be playing much better and the main blame lies with coaching. Eberflus has not done a good job and it’s hurting Caleb Williams.

4 Brian Daboll – Giants

Daboll is a good coach, but the Giants are a bad team. Unfortunately, he could be a casualty of bad roster decisions made by the front office.

5 Zac Taylor – Bengals

The Bengals are way too good to be 4-7, especially with a healthy team and their stars playing so well.

NFL Week 11 Reaction

Los Angeles Rams (5-5) @ New England Patriots (3-8)

The Rams are just a better team than the Pats. Stafford, Kupp, Puka, and Kyren Williams are a machine that’s tough to stop.

Maye played great once again. He still made some roomie mistakes, but it’s hard not to feel good about him.

That touchdown pass to OT Vederian Lowe was the first great playcall by Alex Van Pelt this year. Hopefully the creativity continues.

The Pats continue to doom themselves with unneeded errors. The blocked PAT after the TD pass to Lowe and the false start on 4 and inches with a chance to tie the game hurt them significantly.

Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) @ Buffalo Bills (9-2)

The Bills continue their great season with a win over the Chiefs and put themselves in a great position to get the 1 seed in the AFC. They will now need to deal with all the attention they’ll get after beating the Chiefs and the added pressure that comes with it.

The Chiefs will be fine. They played like they have all year. The difference is the Bills were just too good to overcome in the end, unlike many teams they’ve faced this year. They can’t just wait until the 4th quarter to start making plays when they face great teams.

Cincinnati Bengals (4-7) @ Los Angeles Chargers (7-3)

The Bengals waste another great performance from Joe Burrow and the offense. Zach Taylor’s seat is suddenly becoming much hotter.

The Chargers keep on rolling. They can win in a lot of different ways.

Game/Betting Picks Results

Game: 1-2 (26-15 This Season) (64-31 All-Time)

Spread: 1-2 (23-16-2) (62-30-3)

O/U: 3-0 (22-19) (51-43-1)

NFL Week 11 Predictions

Los Angeles Rams (4-5) @ New England Patriots (3-7)

The Rams have dealt with a lot of injuries and are better than their record says. I think the Rams win, cover (-4.5), and the over (43.5) hits.

Kansas City Chiefs (9-0) @ Buffalo Bills (8-2)

The best matchup of the whole year. It’s unfortunate the Bills are dealing with so many injuries to their top playmakers, but to be fair that’s what the Chiefs have dealt with all year. I think the Chiefs win, cover (+2), and the over (46) hits.

Cincinnati Bengals (4-6) @ Los Angeles Chargers (6-3)

Another great matchup. I think the Bengals win, cover (+1.5), and the over (48) hits.
